The basics

Before you call.

How much does it cost?

Most small businesses pay between $225 and $600 a month for bookkeeping. Tax returns and catch-up work are quoted once, in writing, before we start.

Do I have to switch software?

No. We work in QuickBooks Online and Xero. If you’re on spreadsheets or nothing at all, we’ll set you up and show you the two buttons you need.

I’m two years behind. Is that a problem?

Not for us. We rebuild missing months from your bank statements and get you current, usually within six weeks.

Do you meet in person?

Whenever you like. The office is at 18 Mercer Street, and plenty of clients never visit at all. Phone and video work just as well.

What do I need to send you?

A login to your bank and cards, last year’s tax return and whatever receipts you have. A shoebox counts.

What if I get a letter from the IRS?

Send us a photo of it. Owen is an enrolled agent, which means he can talk to the IRS for you, and most letters are settled with one reply.

Is my information safe?

Files live in an encrypted client portal, never in email. We use read-only bank access, so nobody here can move your money.
